You Are Cordially Invited To The First Reunion For The Direct Descendents Of Grandma And Grandpa Kracht
As the 1800’s were winding down, a young couple and their two baby boys left their home in the far north of Germany to find a new life in the roaring city that had grown out of the discovery of gold in California. Grandma’s sister Foya, married to a doctor, provided a safe haven as they established a home in the city of St. Francis.
Paul, Henry, and later Walter Kracht were very young men when the devastating earthquake of 1906 destroyed the city as they knew it, but the roots of all of us go back to this event and to the homes that Henry and Paul built on the sand dunes of the Sunset District in San Francisco a few years later.
Please come to a reunion of Kracht Family members so we can share where the incredible adventure, begun 138 years ago, has brought each of us … and meet all the others who have shared this remarkable journey.

Lake Tahoe, Incline Village, Nevada
